THE 1973 SOUND BOOTH COLLECTION AND MORE volume 2

This comprehensive deluxe 6 CD set contains so-called sound booth recordings recorded during 4 live performances at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1973. Sound booth recordings are recordings made with one microphone (mono) or two microphones (stereo) placed directly on stage. All shows are painstakingly remastered, and presented as they were recorded: in glorious ‘stereo’ sound. Also included is the January 25 1973 stage rehearsal at corrected speed and it never sounded better then on this set. As a bonus the complete homerecording made in November 1973 at the house of Sam Thompson in Memphis Tennessee is present too.

The included bonus disc set contains 24 rare or official unreleased versions of studio tracks recorded in 1973. New MRS ‘Las Vegas – Closing Night 1973’: UK Label ‘Memphis Recording Service’ (MRS) will release a Deluxe CD plus a 2LP on 180-gram vinyl titled ‘Las Vegas – Closing Night 1973’ in September 2024.
This CD set contains the highlights of Elvis’ final two shows performed on the closing night of his Las Vegas engagement in early September 1973. For the first time ever, the material from these shows is presented in stereo.

The accompanying booklet - which includes rare photographs and memorabilia dating from this engagement and features liner notes which set the scene for this, his ninth season, in Las Vegas.

This is the infamous night as shown in Baz Luhrmann's movie when Elvis said "To Hell with the Hilton Hotel" on stage and afterwards confront Col Parker telling him that he was fired!
Parker responded with, "You can't fire me, I quit".

Elvis was in a wild mood but in the closing show still performed 'Softly As I Leave You' for the very first time, a tremendous ‘How Great thou Art’ plus a fascinating and powerful ‘Mystery Train/Tiger Man’.

Roustabout 60th Anniversary Edition

Infinity Records is ready to celebrate the 60th anniversary release of Elvis' 16th motion picture, "Roustabout", with a brand new 2-CD set.
The album was recorded between March 2nd and May 14th. This would mark the third film released in 1964 and went on to reach No. 1 on the Billboard album chart, making it the last Elvis album to do so until 1973's "Aloha From Hawaii."

This release includes newly mixed stereo masters, mono masters, outtakes, movie versions, rare radio promos, and a brief message to fans in the U.K. Fans can expect great renditions of tracks like "Roustabout," "One Track Heart," "Hard Knocks," "It's A Wonderful World," which was considered for an Oscar nomination, along with other classics from the soundtrack.

Packed in a digi-pack featuring stunning photos and posters, this release is certain to delight any fan for years to come

This 4CD set (previously released as ‘Back in Living Stereo 1960-62’) pays tribute to the recordings Elvis made once he returned home from Germany in March 1960, after his stint as a soldier in the US army (1958-60). These recordings were the first stereo recordings of Elvis issued to the public.
The CDs, presented in a Camden digi-pack, contain remastered tracks of all the 1960 - 1962 master recordings from RCA Studio’s in Nashville. As a bonus, it includes 2 CDs containing rare material of studio session out-takes.
